Book SummaryYou will need to write a summary of the introduction and one chapter from a book relating to the course material that you choose to read. This paper will be due by the last class period. The paper should be a minimum of 2,000 words, and will be worth 100 points. You will need to pay close attention to grammar, spelling, and formatting in order to receive a good grade on this assignment. Unlike your shorter assignments, the Book Summary will require you to use APA formatting. Grading Rubric:

You may choose to read any book on this list, or you may suggest another that you would like to read. The goal of this assignment is to increase your depth of knowledge in an area that is of interest to you. You should be reading something that you have not read before. If you want to read a book that isn’t on this list, then you will need to convince me that the book has literary significance and is relevant to this course.
